July 4th Holiday Will Delay Trash Pickup
It should be noted that all trash & recycling pick-up services will be delayed by one day due to the observance of Independance day on July 4th.

New Building For Rancho Santa Fe Fire Department
It was officially announced that on March 29th the Rancho Santa Fe Fire Department will be moving into their new location at 18027 Calle Ambiente in Cielo Village off of Del Dios. The new building is located across the way from the departments current Station Number 4. The new location is better centralized for quick response to all areas of the ranch.
It should also be noted that the renovated Fairbanks Ranch station is currently on schedule for a May 2011 opening
Super Bowl Sunday In Rancho Santa Fe
Happy Super Bowl Sunday to everybody in Rancho Santa Fe & the surrounding communities. For some of you this will be one of the largest events you will entertain this year & it is important to be prepared for the chaos that Super Bowl Sunday can be. Remember to stock plenty of pre-game snacks & half-time appetizers for your guests. Barbecue is a Super Bowl classic & some basic burgers will more than do the job. Most of all; have fun, enjoy the game & remember that friends don't let friends drive drunk.
Again, have a happy & safe Super Bowl Sunday & I leave you with my prediction for today's big game. My pick is the Steelers over the Packers by a score of 33-28
